Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault is a first-person shooter developed by Raven Software and published by EA for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC. The game was released on October 8, 2004. Medal of Honor Pacific Assault is the fourth installment of the Medal of Honor series. As with the previous three installments, Pacific Assault takes place during World War II and follows the experiences of a US Army Ranger named Michael Vickers who is ordered to undertake an infiltration mission into the German town of Brest, France, to assassinate Nazi war criminal Baldur von Schirach. to be honest I'm not even sure if the game that I'm about to review is even proper named Medal of Honor Pacific Assault. This is because the original game that made the whole series and Pacific Assault is the PlayStation 2 game. The Xbox and PC versions have pretty much nothing new apart from medals, teammates, and new weapons. If you're wondering what Medal of Honor stands for then it stands for a government funded military ground force that doesn't have to fight in wars because the government just pays them. They are used to doing work that soldiers hate, like fighting criminals and spies. The game is centred around a modern day version of this where the government has gone completely mad and started a war with countries which they haven't even declared. All that you have to do is kill everything that threatens the US. This game is of course a remake of the PlayStation 2 game (which I think I have read has a misspelled name).
